Communities
can be defined as a social group of any size whose members reside in a specific
location, share government, and often have a common cultural and historical
heritage. Some examples of different communities are practice. Communities that
deal with people who are in similar work fields tend to be involved or
interested in the same activities. Another good example is action. If certain
people within a community feel strongly about a change that they’d like to see
happen, they will come together and take action of these issues.
Systems Theory is defines as the interdisciplinary study of systems in general, with the goal of elucidating principles that can be applied to all types of systems at all nesting levels in all fields of research.
Virtual Communities are defined as people who interact over the internet, different web sites like chat rooms, newsgroups, emails, discussion board and blogs. If it wasn’t for these different types of virtual communities, people from all across the world would struggle to communicate. They help people every day and I feel that if these were to go away, people would not be able to accomplish tasks throughout their everyday lives. That’s how much importance virtual communities are to people.

Hi Nina!
ReplyDeleteYour absolutely right, today Virtual Communities are such an influential part of our everyday lives. And we depend on them for always everything. Because of virtual communities being used as marketing and advertising purposes, we now are better able to spread our messages across the world because so many people are involved in virtual communities. It also, works well with individuals who are seeking information. Whether a student is using a virtual community to seek research for a class, or if an individual is using virtual community as a job search engine. We complete our daily tasks with virtual community.
